Jeffrey L. Hecht is President and founder of SourceOne Partners, and has been helping small and medium-sized businesses navigate through various HR outsourcing options available in the marketplace.
Since 2005, SourceOne Partners has been a trusted advisor putting together customized cost-effective solutions to assist small and medium-sized businesses in managing their employee benefit, HR and payroll needs.
With more than 20 years experience in the PEO industry, he carries the knowledge to make sure your company is taken care of appropriately. He is also a licensed insurance agent and runs a fully licensed insurance agency that is dedicated to serving its clients by delivering a wealth of employee benefit options, with customized plan designs and competitive rates to fit the individual needs of each business. Jeff’s written several articles that have appeared in industry trade magazines about the industry. Mr. Hecht has also presented at the Smith Barney Healthcare Conference, as well as, participated in an online conference with former United States Secretary of Labor, Robert Reich.
Prior to SourceOne Partners, Jeff was a founding partner of Employee Management, Inc. (EMI), a PEO, in 1990. EMI grew to become the 17th largest PEO in the nation and the largest PEO in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area by 1998 with more than 12,000 worksite employees. He led the company to a merger with Tampa, FL – based Payroll Transfers, Inc, in 1998. The combined company became one of the largest privately held PEOs in the nation. EPIX Holdings Corporation, had revenues of $1.5 billion in 2000 serving more than 3,000 clients and 50,000 worksite employees nationwide, before its sale to a publicly traded company.
Jeff holds a bachelors degree in business administration from The University of Maryland, College Park. Jeff currently resides in Delray Beach, FL with his wife and two daughters.
