A family owned retail store in Broward County, which has been in business in the same location for over 30 years came to Source One Partners to evaluate its current PEO relationship with a focus on health benefits.
After an initial consultation with the ownership, an analysis of the relationship with the current PEO was conducted. It was determined that the current PEO did not even sponsor their own health plan. The PEO was billing them a 5.4% SUTA rate, even though they only had one employee collect unemployment in the last 10 years.
After analyzing several alternatives, Source One Partners brought them together with a national PEO that provided health coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield and provided just the right set of benefits for a company that was concerned with providing their loyal staff with excellent benefits as would be found at a large corporation.
The PEO came in and conducted a live enrollment with all the employees and took the time to answer their questions and make sure they were aware of all the benefits that were being offered to them.
In implementing Source One’s recommendation, the store was able to reduce costs while providing superior benefits to their employees.
